A series of meetings and workshops was held at the beginning of 2010. Stakeholders and the community had the opportunity to provide their input on bridge elements important to pedestrians, bikers, and residents of both Portland and South Portland. Decisions were made on certain aesthetic and site design elements of the bridge and approaches. Notes from these meetings are below.
